Comal Independent School District
Comal ISD spans Comal County and reaches into northern Bexar and Guadalupe counties, covering New Braunfels' outer areas, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Spring Branch and parts of far north San Antonio. It is the district of choice for families who want newer construction, more land, and Hill Country surroundings while still commuting to JBSA-Randolph or Camp Bullis. New Braunfels ISD and Comal ISD both serve addresses in and around the city. Confirm which one covers a home before you assume anything about campuses.
New construction is common

Comal County loan limits
Comal County has its own conforming loan limit. With full VA entitlement there is no VA loan cap at all, but the county limit still matters if your entitlement is partially used.
